Crystalens

Premier Eye Care Group is pleased to offer the Crystalens, which was approved in 2004 by the FDA. This intra-ocular lens replaces a patient's natural lens and allows most patients to see near, intermediate and distance without glasses. The Crystalens is engineered with hinges to move back and forth, or "accommodate," putting images into focus. Both of our LASIK surgeons offer the Crystalens options for patients who want to be less dependent on glasses. The Crystalens website, www.crystalens.com, has a section called Frequently Asked Questions which you may find very informative.

"Seeing was a chore everyday, trying to find the right focus with my trifocals lens. They were especially bothersome when I was painting at my easel. My draftmanship was affected most of the time causing me to become less interested in painting.

Now, with my new Crystalens, my vision truly became immediately clear and bright. Being an artist, color is important to me. Being able to read and see fine detail without glasses is another big plus.

I had complete trust in Dr. Brent. The surgery was totally without pain as were the post surgery drops.

Life is clearly amazing now without glasses."
